Did you know #WSIB cuts injured worker benefits off at age 65, whether they planned on working longer or not? Did you know those workers lost all their CPP contributions while they were injured, and will live in poverty? Hear our stories and write your MPP by visiting buff.ly/4dU72bk
Julie was badly injured while working at a cafe. She had to fight #WSIB for years to get benefits, then they cut her off because of her age. Help us end WSIB Age discrimination by watching Julie's video and writing your MPP. Visit linktr.ee/RightsDontRetire to do both.

Did you know that #InjuredWorkers lose their wage loss benefits at age 65 even if they planned to work longer?
Did you know that they lose their pension contributions for the entire time that they are unable to work?
If a work injury leaves you unable to work for life, that should not mean poverty.
What is workers compensation?
What can I expect if I get injured?
What do I do if something goes wrong?

An old fashioned paper scroll has the following list, labelled the 12 whys of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board Christmas. 1. What does WSIB hand over billions to our bosses while injured workers live in poverty? 2. Why are migrant workers kicked out of the country and cut off benefits when they are hurt? 3. Why can WSIB pretend I’m employed when I can’t find a job, and take my benefits away? 4. Why can WSIB get away with creating so much stress and mental health problems for injured workers? 5. Why are employers able to get away with breaking the law by lying, hiding, and suppressing our claims? 6. Why are taxpayers shouldering the burden when injured workers have been denied or deemed by the WSIB? 7. Why do WSIB benefits expire at age 65, even though we know many workers in Ontario have to work beyond that age? 8. Why is WSIB putting the burden of work injury so heavily on families? Why are they stealing Christmas from our kids? And four more questions.
We have some questions for the #WSIB and Minister of Labour. Help us deliver them this Monday.
