What did I find?
2 petite sprigs
in a sea of sand
casting shadows
Night night
little sleepers
be like snails
taking the slow lane
a cat sprawled in sun
old ones on a porch
shelling butterbeans
Take time to see ~
a pup sleeping in peace

🤍🤍Trillium Tuesday🤍🤍
The beautiful spring time flower of recovery & resilience🤍

This Trillium flower carries the dirt of the path, kicked up by wind, rain and many a passing traveler.
This is the path for me

Have a wonderful Day🤍🤍

We’re going to be in the 70’s tomorrow, but for now I have the heat on. Enjoy your evening Pete. If you’re lucky enough to live in the Hudson Valley you’re lucky enough.

Image: An old photograph of a smiling woman.

Words from my grief journaling.

'She Dies In The End'

Start at the beginning,
Write it all down.
Tell us where it all began.
How did it all come to be?
Take us back, Sarah.

The beginning is burying the lede.

It will only soften the blow,
Prepare you for what is to come,
That's not my style.

I'm more of a guts hanging out and dripping on the carpet while I ask for a bandaid sort of girl.

She dies in the end.

This image a closeup of the head and torso of a crow in a grassy field. This hungry dude is chowing down on a worm---yum! We get a nice view of detail in its glossy wing and head feathers, as well as its beak. It hasn't shaved in a couple of days (well, ever) as can seen by the scruff on its chin. There even looks like there may be a small reflection of the skyline in its eye, though I can't be sure. The crow is surrounded by mostly brown grass but with a hint of green here and there. A little grass in the foreground is in focus, but the grass in the background is out of focus, producing a brownish-green blur that contrasts nicely with the glossy black of the crow.

I was saving this for a food day. It's a food day! #ComeEatWithMe is the theme for #BirdOfTheDay from @robcrank68.bsky.social. Here's a crow with a snack! Norwich VT, April 2026

In the right foreground of this image stands a tall, thick tree trunk almost completely covered with moss. The right edge of the trunk is outside of the frame. In the left midground a shallow, rock-filled brook wanders into and then back out of the image. At the base of the tree the leaf and pine-needle-strewn forest floor is visible. The tree and brook are mostly in clear focus. In the upper left, blurry images other trees appear, as well as ferns and moss-covered rocks at the edge of the brook.

Google says this is a “collection of vibrant Cymbidium orchids”

Google says this is a “collection of vibrant Cymbidium orchids”

I think part of the reason I don’t share my photos much on here lately is bc I feel pressure to only post if there’s an art challenge associated with it. I wanna share this one though, so here it is. Associate it with whatever challenge your heart desires.

A little bit of accidental Wes Anderson too here as my friend pointed out.

It was supposed to be moved to a safer place but it’s still there. The new Coast Guard station is at the other end of the bridge.
