Disappointing news from Sutton Park 💔

Stonechat pairs dropped from 6 to just 1 in 5 years largely due to increased dog disturbance.

These birds nest on the ground & are easily disturbed.

🐾 Please keep dogs on leads
🚶 Stick to paths

Small actions = big impact for wildlife😞

Came across this "large" springtail in the garden - Orchesella cincta. At least that's what I think it is.

I’m trying to bring home & recycle at least one bit of litter every day out. A can, a bottle, a plastic wrapper. Rinse & recycle. Anyone else up for joining in please? ♻️🚯

Just had a bat flying around outside my place of work. Medium sized, broad wings, flying fairly slow and agile at tree top height. Alighted a few times against the bricks. Can anyone narrow it down to a possible id?
