I've taken quite some time off of building or painting anything, but I think I'm gearing up to hop back in as soon as I get some time.

Look what just came in the mail! Got these for a steal. Love me some Spyro Gyra
Probably one of my all time favorite photos I've taken

There's been quite a lot of military activity around KTUL recently. KC-135s, C-130s, RC-135s, more frequent F-16 sorties. Not sure what's up, but I've been enjoying the show!
I've been practicing and learning a lot recently, so I figured I'd paint a miniature exactly how I wanted to. It's a little messy but I love the way it came out, and the under saturated colors look exactly how I wanted them!

My favorite part on this miniature is the big gold bit that holds her hair back. I painted it in the Non Metallic Metal style, so it's not actually shiny! I think it came out really well.
It's really cool to see the progress I've made in miniature painting over the span of a year! Obviously I've still got a lot to learn but the difference is definitely visible!

This group is finished! Not sure what clicked with the purple guy, but it didn't quite follow through with the lady I painted today. There's a substantial quality drop.
Not sure why that is, but it's good practice none the less.

Back in action with this awesome guy. This is definitely my most favorite, and most definitely the best miniature I've painted to date! Had a lot of fun with it, too. Lots of new techniques practiced with this one!

Now There's two of them
Sickness is fading so it's back to where I left off but almost two weeks behind schedule, painting some minis.
Sicknesses that leave you stuck in bed are pretty bothersome. I can still build with a headache and a runny nose, but nausea and fever are another story ποΈ

Those pieces of paper you sometimes get with decal sheets, donβt throw them away, it is fine enough to slide under the tools on models for painting so you can paint them in place
Well I appreciate your recommendation all the same, thank you!
I actually have yet to use anything other than Vallejo, since my local model shop doesn't stock a ton of anything else, but I've heard some good things about the AK acrylics. I'll look into them!
my order from gladdendesign.com arrived today, and I've been having a lot of fun with the Paper Apps Dungeon game! I also got Galaxy but haven't started it.
I highly recommend them if you're into this sort of thing
Also love that it came with a sticker. Always enjoy adding new stickers to my Laptop!
When I was doing my 109 in similar colors I also found that the Vallejo Model Air equivalents didn't seem to be the proper colors either, and had to mix my own colors according to references. Don't know why that is...
This is an edit I did years ago of two gunpla kits I built.
Heavyarms vs Leo
Just found it in the depths of my thumb drive

Well, I've just gotten sick, so there probably won't be any new projects being posted for a while.
Next up on the bench are a bunch of miniatures
Here's the first one, painted to the best of my abilities.
It's so small

Another fun fact about this build, it was painted using apple barrel craft paints a few months before I discovered the joys of scale model specific paints
Another build from a few years ago
Abandoned german tank in the mud
I ended up re using the turret from this tank on the base of the space marine I posted the other day!
