Super excited for #DitchSummit! One of the best PDs I've ever done. Although I'm not full time in the classroom anymore I still look forward to this summit! 🤓

I wish there was a quick access button on my TV remote for #PBSKids.
We need to be lifelong learners - to always be curious!
Listened to @kairyssdal.bsky.social's last #MakeMeSmart episode (as main host). Bittersweet. I've listened since it's inception with him & @mollywood.co! I'm excited to see the new iteration with @kimberlyadams.bsky.social & her new co-host!
Growing up, @levarburton.bsky.social was the soundtrack to my childhood with #ReadingRainbow. As an adult now, #HenryLewisGatesJr is my adult soundtrack with #FindingYourRoots!

So, we now live in a world where an outgoing president pardons their family and an incoming president pardons people who committed treason.
Remember how a few months ago it seemed like everyone was talking about the Roman Empire after a TikTok meme?
It might be a sign of a growing interest in history.
Ancient DNA reveals that during the Iron Age, women in ancient Celtic societies were at the center of their social networks — unlike previous eras of prehistory.
Digital poster for Ditch That Textbook's Ditch Summit. White background with black text and yellow box on the right. Text reads Ditch Summit: PD on your couch, on your time. Icon to the left of a person laying on a couch looking at their phone. The yellow box on the right has black text that says Ditch That Textbook Digital Summit.
Had a blast learning at #DitchSummit! Sad that it's over, grateful for what it taught, excited for the next!

Book laying on counter. The cover has a WWII bomber flying and says "The Forgotten 500: The Untold Story Of The Men Who Risked All For The Greatest Rescue Mission Of World War II." The author name is on the bottom and says Gregory A. Freeman
Just finished reading this amazing story by Gregory Freeman! I had never heard of Draža Mihailović or Operation Halyard, the saving of over 500 downed airmen from behind enemy lines in Yugoslavia, prior to this book.
