Playoff hockey and the Flyers in general are officially back after instant Philadelphia classic Game 3 victory - PHLY Sports Playoff hockey was missing in Philadelphia for eight long years. But it's back now, and so are the Flyers.

Over the past decade, the Flyers lost their hold on Philadelphia sports fans, and the city at large. On Wednesday, they went a long way towards getting it back.

My column on an iconic win that fully confirms the return of the Flyers to relevance:

Embers

Another bank of clouds move in as the Aurora fades away.
Rain, and lightning, would arrive soon after.
Time for home, and warmth.

This photo shows a close-up view of vibrant wildflowers in a grassy field under a stormy sky. In the foreground and midground, there are tall, spiky flower stalks with white and deep purple buds, some still tightly closed and others beginning to bloom. In the lower right, bright blue-purple flowers with white centers are in full bloom. The background features a wide-open meadow with green and yellow vegetation stretching to the horizon.

Red Sox pitcher Payton Tolle. He’s got a mustache that will be immortalized as a statue on Boston Common if he goes 5, strikes out 7, and holds the Yankees to a run or two tonight

Love how the Sox are starting a 35 yr-old HVAC guy against the Yankees tonight

Image of glade with a lake surrounded by trees with the sun peeping through.

The words read:

turn off the news.
    go outside.
      breathe.
you were never
meant to carry
 the burden of
the entire world.

And for a few days she didn't read any news, she walked in the sunshine, she did some gardening. She watched the squirrels and listened to the birds. And the world seemed a kinder, happier place.

A woodland waterfall spills into a vivid green plunge pool at its base. The left part of the drop goes straight down the cliff face and the lower right portion descends over some rock steps.

I appreciate all the support of my Vancouver Island work recently. Keeping with the theme, here’s another waterfall. A short hike and rope-assisted descent brought me face to face with this beauty.

I'm always a little torn about the beauty of the architecture in Perú, because much of it is from devastating colonisation. Yes, it's incredibly beautiful. And yes, it has an oppressive origin. #architecture #monochrome #photography #travelphotography #plazadearmas #Arequipa #Perú

A small bird is on a diagonal branch, looking straight at the camera. It has red legs, a blue body with yellow splotches, some black visible on the wings, and turquoise on the top of the head.

When I moved home almost 4 yrs ago (🤯) I made my dad stop using weed killer in the yard. Now the yard is full of clover, dandelions, wild violets and feverfew. The pollinators love it 🥰
