The first part of my Adult Surprise Jackt (from Elizabeth Zimmermanns’s ‘The Opionated Knitter’). Decreases done, now the increase section. Acres of garter stitch in random stripes. D6 for dark, D4 for light. Yarn is some Chinese acrylic from Temu. Decidedly mislabelled as “60%silk” and others. Not!

I have 9 colours of that yarn. So I will knit something for myself with the rest, an Adult Surprise Jacket. Should be fun.

Glittering Snowscape Shawl by Stephen West knit on 3.5 mm in 5 colours of some Chinese 60% silk, 20% cashmere, 20% wool. Very nice and soft, but splits easily. Also burn tests to a hard molten bead. So probably not as advertised. Now to sew in the ends.
