I wish media competence was taught in all schools with the importance it deserves.

We're mostly limited by the current renderer, so once we get a new one that can instance skinned meshes using mesh shaders (I can't stop talking about them), we can bump up the amount of enemies by a lot (currently limiting them to ~200).

I'm very excited about #MMC26 because we've been spending the past few days mostly polishing the game, including cinematic cutscenes. Defenders of Arcane Valley is really gonna show the cool things you can do in #Resonite!

It's sad because I am no longer going to subscribe to some streaming service anymore. I want to purchase and own my music. I can understand why people choose piracy, especially when there is no alternative available.

To put this into perspective: Assuming that artists would get a conservative $0.005 per stream and I could buy the song for $2, the break-even point is at 400 streams.

According to Spotify, 1M streams generate $10k revenue. With royalites etc subtracted, that's how the artists get around $0.003 […]

Why are many artists and publishers only allowing their music to be streamed? Are purchases not much more profitable than streams?

The official documentation doesn't really exist and the ECMA specification is just one giant unsearchable (no outline) PDF.

I have a working prototype that can inspect IL and resolve all references by just reading the metadata that's available at runtime.

I really don't like it when people keep complaining about a software, and then make their own separate project intended as a replacement. Instead of helping the existing project with fixing the issues.

Open source software doesn't need more fragmentation, it's harmful.
