Been a while, but here's a #thingthursday for ya! My favorite lighter ever. Mom got it for me shortly after I was out of high school. I love my little metal froggy. He likes to start fires, just like me.

I am suddenly remembering that I got impatient to open them and immediately cut myself a little? This was probably why I was so good at following the "only use with supervision" rule.

#ThingThursday: I still have the first scissors I ever owned as a kid—probably because I got them quite young and was only allowed to use them with supervision.

You can probably date them a bit since they are metal scissors 'for kids', and were made to last.
