Coming this week: Quick Search in Genealogy Assistant will now automatically remember the collections you visit on Ancestry, so you can easily return to them from any page by pressing the Quick Search keyboard shortcut (ctrl + / by default) and typing any part of the name.

When using the text index in Ancestry's image viewer, you can click the header bar to instantly maximize and minimize the list.
This reduces the need to click then drag (not great for wrists!) and makes comparison a much smoother process.
All models sorted by value, a score from 1-10 considering accuracy and cost efficiency. A higher number represents the best value (bang for your buck factor).
OpenAI's new GPT-5.1 fares well on our latest accuracy benchmark. It's a capable model for AI transcription, but overshadowed by better and cheaper models from Google and Qwen.
