1/ Philipp Mallm from the @dkfz.bsky.social Single-cell Open Lab just broke the news at #AACR26: the first results on colorectal cancer (CRC) tissue analysis with the new Atera spatial transcriptomics platform from @10xgenomics.bsky.social. Is it "making the impossible possible?" 🧵
hahha, that must have been an autocorrect of whatever I typed instead of hoopla
Saw the big houplahoo about the "passing of the central dogma". Honestly, I don't really understand what the big deal is. An enzyme that can make a poly-dinucleotide. Great, a first, but is this really that surprising? And it has little to do with the flow of genetic information. What am I missing?
Love the cover!

I have this song in my playlist, and every time it comes up, I'm struck how much the US has changed in the last 10 years

Orban concedes defeat. The support of Trump, Vance, Putin, Lavrov, Weidel, Milei, Le Pen, Fico, Babis and many others could not overcome Hungarian anger at a stagnant, corrupt regime

I am really trying not to comment on politics. But sometimes it is hard not to despair:

Detection of metastatic burden in mouse models should be done in 3D and at single-cell resolution.
The solution is CODA, a workflow that maps organs, tumors and mets exhaustively, in 3D, and at single-cell resolution.
