Testing the optical telephoto lens' ability of Vivo X300Pro with this being shot at a distance away. I had the Raw Lighting enabled to prevent out of Camera DRI stacking

Just moments aft er a heavy downpour, the Esplanade found its twin in a puddle. I love how the spikes of the Durian look even sharper when reflected in the pool of rainwater.

I simply love intimate Architecture shots like this. This was shot from quite far away for a good reason; to create an isolated suitable angle to capture the reflection of the Sun's Ray.

One of my favorite best to catch a Sunset in the North of Singapore, Rower's Bay Park. This is also one of my phone's wallpaper in rotation. Had to use Magic Eraser to erase someone standing at the side of the foreground.

Daze and the Dazing
Caught in the candid hum of the city. In the background, a man is dazing into his phone, lost in a digital world. In the foreground, our subject sits in a quiet daze.

This street composition uses a dark underpass as a natural frame to highlight two different rhythms of life. Captured in silhouette, the subjects are defined by their motions:

Intricate embroidery and vibrant batik patterns come to life against the quiet backdrop of quiet Emerald Hill. These candid moments feel like a step back into Singapore's history.

I have always been drawn to abstract architectural shots, especially those that whisper a story of heritage. There's something captivating about seeing classic paranakan architecture mirrored in a modern frame.

Swissotel Reflection
A vertical reflection of the Swissotel in a still pool of rainwater. The building's signature repetitive balcony patterns create a rhythmic, geometric reflection on the wet ground.

I have never felt the need to download a wallpaper, not when I can compose one myself. This shot had been sitting in my archive, nearly forgotten because it’s been living as my phone’s lock screen for a while

A serene, wide angle shot captured from the entrance of Rower's Bay Partk. The composition utilizes a natural frame; deep shadows of the foreground, leading the eye towards a brighter, shimmering reservoir.

I decided to limit myself to just my 85mm prime lens for a night walk around the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Usually, people go wide here to capture the scale, but I wanted to see what happened if I went deep.

There's a beautiful simplicity in this street setup; just a man, his music and the passing city. A soulful afternoon at Orchard Road, where Bernard Koh brings the sidewalk to life with his yellow electric guitar harmonica.

Perspective is everything
If I didn't mention it, would you have known that this shot's orientation has been shifted 90 degrees counter-clockwise?

Finding the Tropics in the Concrete Jungle
It’s not exactly a palm-lined beach avenue, but in a city like Singapore, you find paradise where you can, especially with Sentosa just across the water.

Caught in Glass
This shot captures the fleeting transition of the early evening sun, not by looking directly at the sky but through its distorted twin on the city's surface.

Believe it or not, it was my first time visiting the Singapore National Orchid Garden at Botanic Garden. Well designed garden with the VIP section the highlight as the named orchids were all located there

The Rain is never the Enemy
Moments after the downpour stopped in the CBD, the city transformed. While most people were putting their umbrellas away, I was looking at the ground.

This architectural composition captures the stark contrast between the dense pattern of a modern skyscraper and the open "white space" of a high-rise garden. High-contrast and clean geometric composition

Nature's own Oil Painting.
Captured along the banks of Singapore River. By including a large pool of rainwater, I was able to capture distorted reflection of the ordinary into something fantastic. #lumixs9 #lumixphotography #reflections #reflectionphotography #streetphotography

In a city that never stops moving, finding a moment of stillness by the Singapore River is an art form in itself. I used the trees as a natural frame to isolate this moment of quiet reflection. #lumixs9 #lumixphotography #streetphotography #QuietMoments #StreetVision

This location is globally recognized for the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, yet this abstract architecture shot was captured by simply turning my back to the landmark #lumixs9 #lumixphotography #AbstractPhotography #architecturephotography

This is an abstract reflection of the Sun. Rather than shooting the light directly, I used the reflective buildings as a natural filter to capture the sun’s glare as a clean, abstract shape. #lumixs9 #lumixphotography #streetphotography #reflectionphotography #architecturephotography

A moment of rest in a city that never stops. I was immediately drawn to the fantastic contrast and I love how the light isolates this moment of rest, turning a candid scene into a sharp silhouette. #lumixs9 #lumixphotography #silhouettes #streetphotography #silhouettephotography

At first glance, it looks like a shot of the Marina Bay Sands. But look closer at the edges and you will realize this is the entire hotel cast onto a pool of water just moments after a heavy downpour #lumixs9 #lumixphotography #reflectionphotography #architecturephotography #landscapephotography

At One Fullerton, the crowd always faces the same direction, aiming their lenses at the Marina Bay Sands. I was drawn to the abstract version of it appearing in the reflective glass the opposite direction

I shot this from a distance on a heavy, gloomy day. The rain felt appropriate; a somber reflection of the contrast between this aging landmark and the glamour of the modern skyline rising around it.

Sometimes, photography isn't about the detail of the subject, but the idea behind the story. I used the architectural lines of the railing to frame the silhouette of a fellow creator lost in the moment.

Long exposures used to require a tripod and perfect stillness. I have been refining the next version of Photo Stacker, specifically designed to handle the micro-movements of handheld shooting.

Hi! Thanks! Yup, I am using the S9 and yes, light rain drizzle is fine, I usually just wipe it off immediately when I hit a shelter. IQ wise, this baby is the same as S5ii, just note the missing features if you want to get one, it's a deal breaker for some but not for me.
