You totally should!! Shiny hunting is such a fun pastime, I spend most evenings doing a bit of it while I wind down. It's really rewarding and I've found it's really helped me become a more patient person over time, too.

I found Vex, my shiny nickit starter, after only 8 and a half hours and 867 encounters on route 2 using the KO/brilliant method. She's got a sassy nature, so I tried to capture that in her pose and expression! 💜🦊

The forest ogre June beetle is native to my area and they're absolutely adorable and so fluffy. 💜 Every year I look forward to hearing them bump against my window at night before I turn my lights off.
I learned a lot about shrimp anatomy with this piece too! I'm proud of it.

I'm almost done with another shrimp piece and I've really improved on the anatomy! I've never drawn shrimp before, I really love them but I found them a little complicated and intimidating to draw. It's fun to branch out and learn though. 💜
