27 years after my first visit to the Mer de Glace, I finally returned in 2026 with NNORMAL. Seeing how much the glacier has retreated is shocking, nothing hits harder than comparing it with your own memories. Still grateful to touch, record and create with this ice again.

L’UNOC3 s’achève 🇺🇳
Une pensée émue pour ce petit garçon qui, en été 1998, accompagné de ses grands parents et parents, rencontrait les glaciers pour la première fois à la Mer de Glace de Chamonix, et qui, 27 ans plus tard, donnait une conférence et un live autour du son de ces glaciers alpins.

Throwback to my live data sonification performance at the Chasseurs d’Orages festival on April 26th 🌩️
Everything was generated from data of a thunderstorm that occurred on August 2024. It was intense, unpredictable, and a real challenge to control live, but I’m quite happy with the result!
