Late to the party, last one to leave. 🥳
I write across genres, too. I have a STEM Southern romcom. A historical fiction that is Shield of Sparrows meets Rise of Empires: Ottoman. Both are slow burn spicy. I have no regrets.
Looking for community, CPs and some damn accountability.

Last year, I was thrilled to have a #10queries for my stem rom com. This year, I had 2 #10queries and was long listed for another editor for my historical romance. Maybe next year, I can keep this momentum going for #revpit 27?
Completely. I had an unfinished MS languishing, calling out for an ending, and it was #revpit that gave me the push to reread it (hey, it’s actually pretty good!) and give it a proper ending. Thank you to all the organizers, editors, first readers and fellow writers. I love this community.
It’s not just YOU! #writingsky #revpit
I love this take
did you guys know that, in 1984, Don Delillo published a short story called "Human Moments in World War III" and the premise is astronauts watching nuclear conflict on earth from space. haha

I’ve been more excited about the #10Queries than the possibility of winning. But there’s always a chance!!!
I could be game. I have a medieval romance if you’re interested.
Happy Easter, my little bunnies! 🐰
Theo botched the Spell of Ridiculam.
I wrote draft 1 during NaNoWri after a short story I had written won a contest. That first draft was a mess but it was the first time I had ever written The End, and it was an amazing feeling. I will never let anything take that accomplish away and neither should you!

Excellent degree of vagueness @miranda-darrow.bsky.social My historical could be any of these or none of them.
Love it! Very Hemingway. Now write!
I’m going to guess this is mine because I’m an optimist (not really 😂) but it’s the only AHR that made it to #10Queries!
I’ve been loving Kin by Tayari Jones.
I love how each editor chooses their manuscript. It also shows how it’s such a personal choice (and if we aren’t chosen, it’s not necessarily because of our writing, premise or style.) 🙏
“A blushing bride on the wedding night and a widow by morning!” 🗡️
Don’t make me choose!!
Loving the musical soundtracks! Keep ‘em coming.
Thrilled to see the raccoon has made a reappearance!
It’s a sizzle reel 🤦♀️
Oh my goodness, this one was so hard!
Join us at the Northwest Mississippi Writers Guild workshop April 4.
It’s a free writing workshop with published authors, writing and networking with local authors across multiple genres. I’ll also be hosting a fun writing exercise!
