1915–1916 Church of England border polls - Wikipedia

Cynhaliwyd pleidlais mewn pedwar plwyf ar bymtheg (Polau Ffin Eglwys Lloegr 1915–1916). Dewisodd deunaw plwyf aros gydag Eglwys Lloegr. Dim ond un plwyf a bleidleisiodd i ymuno â'r Eglwys yng Nghymru – Llansilin. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1915%E2...

Mae pentref Llandydiwg (Dixton) yng Nghymru. Ond adeg datgysylltu'r Eglwys Anglicanaidd yng Nghymru roedd Llandydiwg yn un o'r plwyfi yr oedd ffin Cymru a Lloegr yn rhedeg trwyddynt. Yn y plwyfi hyn cafwyd pleidlais i benderfynu a ddylent ymuno â'r Eglwys yng Nghymru ynteu aros yn Eglwys Loegr.

Rwy'n credu bod Dudleston a Dudleston Heath/Criftins yn cael eu hystyried yn lleoedd gwahanol. Ond mae'n siŵr eu bod yn rhan o drefgordd hanesyddol Dudleston.

If Cwm Gwaun really was 'timeless', they wouldn't be celebrating New Year's Day once, let alone twice.

It’s rare for Welsh manuscripts to have illustrations such as this peacock, and this copy of the Welsh laws, National Library of Wales MS 20143A, has a number of fun marginal drawings as well as miniatures. I’m partial to the two-headed wyvern doing double-duty catching run-ons in both columns. 1/3

A photo of a duck taken at great distance. You can just about work out that the bird is a Red-breasted Merganser by the black head, long, narrow bill, white neck, dark back and white flanks and reddish breast

A mega-rarity for Cardiff Bay yesterday - Red-breasted Merganser - the first one I've seen in the Bay in 35 years or so, found by Alex Bevan. As is oft the case for good birds in the bay it was as far from land as it could get (about 400m)! #birdingwales

While it may not sound it, my people’s #history of English #cricket proved entirely radical to the game’s gatekeepers (and traditionalist fan base)!

Comparisons with #Marx, although misplaced, welcome, however. 😅

It is that time of year when people become worried about #Hedgehogs surviving winter. Hedgehogs are designed to live all year round in the UK
not all Hedgehogs hibernate and even if they do it is not a continuous sleep therefore benefit from having access to food. Info by #GlamorganHedgehogRescue 🦔

Amazes me that you can see a bird like this Dipper almost in the centre of Cardiff. This was taken on the dock feeder canal near where it comes off the Taff at Blackweir. 100s of people walking within a few metres and oblivious to it being on the stream below them #birdingWales #birds #ukbirding
