I hope your Christmas was relaxing with lots of yummy food. For us, time at the beach, lots of yummy salads, ham, Turkey, Prawns, hot roast pork with crackle. Then lemon Cheesecake, leftover pavlova, cassata icecream and fruit salad. So good!

This is Link. His ball suddenly went missing and then reappeared trapped under his bed. He called his brother Otto in for backup, knowing they'd need all three of their collective brain cells to get it back. 12/10 for both (IG: thegoldenbruvs)

So I drove from Albany to Esperance yesterday afternoon, can you tell it's spring?! Time to wash the windscreen.

Volunteering doesn't have to be a big time commitment.

We need more housing, but Kylie says nature belongs in cities too Kylie Soanes says urban development should not come at the expense of nature and there's no reason why we should not spot a fairy wren on the way to the bus stop.

I'm ever so grateful that there are absolute champions like @drkyliesoanes.bsky.social showing us how humans and other life can and must share cities. Thank you, Kylie! www.abc.net.au/news/2025-09...

The leafy seadragon is one of the ocean’s greatest masters of disguise
Found only in the waters off southern and western Australia, it looks less like an animal and more like a drifting piece of seaweed
Its body is covered in elaborate leaf-like appendages that sway with the currents.
