We build structures that add weight, not value - then wonder where impact went.

Start simpler: priorities, alignment on outcomes, autonomy to execute.
Then remove the friction.

Two years of the Flutter Agility Community of Practice! 🎂🎉
Today marks the second birthday of our Agility Community of Practice!

We launched the Community of Practice on 9 February 2024 with a simple idea: create a space where people who care about better delivery, collaboration and innovation could learn together, share openly and raise the bar for how we work.

Since then… we’ve come a long way.
👉 Reached over 700 members
👉 Delivered 30+ events
👉 Welcomed international speakers from across the group and industry
👉 Created a platform for people at every stage of their journey - from new starters to expert practitioners

✅ Business Analysts, Engineers, Agile Coaches, Mentors and Leaders
✅ People Leaders, Facilitators and Experts in Organisational Transformation

We've had it all! 
💡 Colleagues swapping stories, techniques and hard-won lessons
🧠 Group coaching, silent coaching and deep reflection sessions
🫶 Retrospectives, case studies and personal stories
📊 Dashboards, metrics and JQL deep dives
🎓 Remote training, in-person courses, and partnerships with local communities and trusted experts

#tom-updates a lot of work in process items were finished today. Regular comms and alignment syncs went in calendars. Provided feedback on workshop plans. Got feedback on designs for change communities. Reviewed my own agile coaching growth wheel. Made plans for this year’s professional development.

#tom-updates today saw a great facilitation case study in a community of practice. Shared public and private contract concepts in agile coaching, consulting, ethics. Did work on an op model. Peer reviewed work. Got a peer review. Began automating messaging in slack channels for change comms.
