#Goldfinch is the final book in #PlatedPrisoner series. I've mostly enjoyed this #FinishedSeries. I will admit to skimming some of the steamier scenes. Especially when they get to be chapter long. While I don't mind some heat, some feel awkward. To each their own. #booksky #RavenKennedy

I barely finished #book 1 in the #BloodwingAcademy 4 book series. #TheBondThatBurns was better. But I still found myself skimming pages. By the end, instead of being excited, I just wanted it to be over. I think this is where I say, they lived happily ever after and find another series. #booksky

From the author of the #BlackDaggerBrotherhood comes #CrownOfWarAndShadow. Not a bad #book but it lacked... something. This is supposed to be a 4 book series. It didn't end on a cliffhanger, so you have a choice of 1 and done or follow them into the future. I'm a little iffy right now. #booksky
I am so envious of a #storyteller. They take you by the hand and lead you on an adventure. They swallow you whole and introduce you to new worlds, new people, new ideas. I've even had a few haunt my dreams. My mind so engaged that the story remains even when the ink & pages are absent. #booksky

#TheInvisibleWoman is a bright pink book. That probably should have been a hint. My husband has a select few authors that he enjoys. #JamesPatterson being one of them. He DNF this #book. I think this was meant to appeal to women. And, as a woman, I finished it. But give it a, meh. #booksky
I was pretty sure I wouldn't finish this #trilogy. This book is awkward. The enemies to lovers is clunky. Then in the last few pages, what I expected... happened. Maybe just enough to get me to read 1 more.

The 1st half of #OnTheWingsOfBlood was leaning towards DNF. A snowstorm & a sad lack of other books kept me going. I felt Zodiac Academy meets Twilight at Fourth Wing, even a hint of Harry Potter & Hunger Games, as I read this #book. But not as good as any of them. #booksky
