Me too, had the Matchbox SRN6 and green fictional (?) one. Had big Dinky SRN6 after seeing them on Isle of Wight holiday (we went on ferry). Did have a trip on AP1-88 in 1990 to IoW, can remember it being noisy ! All pics from internet

A 1/24 scale model car from Hasegawa, a Subaru 360 Deluxe painted in Pine Green Pearl with gold accents.
This one was a challenge, box came smashed and the frame was a bit bent, leading to a lot of poor fitment. Had some fun with it though and tacked on the roof box
Just rereleased, seen people wanting £150+ before now!
This just arrived, pre-order from Jadlam a while back. Looks like a bit of clean up will be needed of this this older tooled kit but it is one I have wanted since a kid in the 1970s (recall having a vac form version my dad built for me that possibly came as a food promotion?)

Build was a fight and the decals very fragile. I've defo built better. First time I've used Hataka paints. I like them.

I forgot to share my Easter project - I’ve designed and printed a set of stackable boxes that clip together for my painting and building stuff. Currently I have two boxes for 17ml paint bottles, one for my wet pallet and brushes and one for minis.

Regular viewers will remember I finished the restoration of an old Tamiya Ford Zakspeed Capri a few weeks back in green; I've now completed the re-released kit version as well which comes with lovely opaque Cartograph decals for the 'proper' Mampe example.

Today I started experimenting with adding rust to one of the covers using AK Interactive Crusted Rust Deposits, then adding a little Valejo Rust pigment powder. Very happy with the results. I’ve not tried this technique before.

Most of the paint layer removal has been completed. Now onto adding the decals to match the damaged paint, then work on the underside to add all the engine grime, then it’s rusting and overall weathering.

The blue color was a challenge. I ended up using Vallejo's Model Air IDF Blue with a drop of flat black.
