Interesting, Im not convinced. Todays caves come with doors and windows, self maintained and finaced by thier current occupants, free to chose the manner of thier enslavment but stepping outside that conformity is what? Possible? Madness? Unthinkable.

Now that is quite a quote for such pages, one wonders if Platos Allegory of the cave reflects our current emperical perception?

Absolutely, sadly the great X exodus proved X wasnt the real issue, it was those posting politics and still posting it here instead.

French forces on the rail line watch carefully as the number of cows increase. Is this yet another shabby Nazi trick? No, just nice terrain clutter helping to tranform the table. On the other flank the VB team evacuate the stunned SL and avoid a collection of bad things indoing to. 1 nil to france

Table shot longways. German attack on the right to draw in the majority of yhe French force works too well as the German.no1 section gets caught in a firefight before an additional Gruppe joins the frey and seeing them off at bayonet point. Chances of clearing two out of three sectors slim.

The Pz4 of doom shepards the germans no3 section forward and upsets the french gruppe in the house to thier front. Its opening volley sees the house unstable and the next three shots had similar results seeing both a JL and SL stunned and the gruppe reduced to one man. The Blitzkrieg rolls onwards.

A couple of table shots from the weekends Chain of Command2 game set in France, 1940. German second wave attempt the flank attack scenario against from motorised infantry. A great game and the first outing for a pile of table clutter like cows, greenhouse, conservatory and shed all adding value.

The not so #Festivetankchallenge2025. With the Desert tanks done attention switches to the clingons and a coat of Olive Drab followed by faded OD on the upper surfaces. Varnish added ahead of pin washing. #spreadthelard

#FestiveTankChallenge2025 back at it, G(Cam) Drawing No A-142/1 camo applied as photos seem to indicate camo on Shermans is universal in 1942. Hopefully varnish on later today ready for pin washing tomorrow.

#Festivetankchallenge2025 More progress, ditched Portland stone (too light to my eye) and went light stone for the base colour. Added a highlight to raised edges, blocked in the tranks and then added wooden tools. Camo or not to camo... undecided. #spreadthelard

#FestiveTankChallenge Build complete, friends from the stash joining as they wait to head for priming. I thinking the plan will be 3 for the Brits, 4 for the yanks, all Desert/Tunisia bound. Decalls look good. #spreadthelard

From the depths of the cupboard of doom escapes the 2025 #festivetankchallenge as i work in the smaller scale (72) its tanks rather than tank. Best do some colour scheme research as these wont take much building. But, off to the Desert they go.

No worries, I just recall seeing the real thing and its shear size made it memorable.
