Warsh may be a reasonable guy and capable economist just playing a role here. But if integrity and independence are qualities we value in a Fed Chief, he does not have them.
Every nominee who dodges this question tells us that they have no meaningful commitment to American democracy.

Here. So yesterday I saw a post from someone I didn't know (reputable or troll?). This seems to be where it's coming from.

Janene Hendrickson quilted the "Jubilation" pattern by Studio 180 Designs. She saw the design at the Houston Quilt Show and worked on it as a block of the month pattern. Janene likes bright colors and a challenge. This did not disappoint.
Finally, found some inspiration and desire to create quilt art again. Patchwork butterflies on a black background. Symbolism of metamorphosis from grief of things or people which are gone.
Yay! You're off to a great start! Seams that don't line up are extra spooky.
Vax progress ahhhhhh! After 27 hours of quilting, all the trapunto is done and the skirt wings are on (pinned for now)

I read something about that (row 5 col 9) earlier today, but it wasn't from a source I recognized, so... hopefully it was wrong?
The Onion has successfully bought InfoWars. Happy 4/20. 😂
SCOOP --> Paramount, Meta, and X are refusing to say what happened to their huge contributions to Trump's presidential library after Sen Elizabeth Warren raised questions about its fund getting dissolved. Ds say tens of millions remain unaccounted for.

The fiery glow of Sunday fades,
The old week’s weight now slips away.
Fresh hope blooms in the twilight shades,
To greet the dawn of a brand new day.

This is "Sammy's Yellow Buggie" by Kim Myers. Kim and her husband both learned to drive on a VW Bug, so she immortalized their yellow baby in a quilt. And what a lovely job she did too.
A quilt with three blue panels, each decorated with seven golden stars, hangs in a museum exhibit
Interior view of Old St. Paul’s Church in Baltimore, showing the ceiling painted with a cosmic motif of golden stars against a deep blue background
Last fall, @thepeale.bsky.social issued a call for artists to interpret the evolving meaning of “place” in Baltimore. Immediately, I wanted to participate and create a piece. I am delighted to share that this quilt, submitted under the title “Cosmic Triptych,” is now on exhibit.
Started this quilt last August for my friend who is a huge movie buff. Just the letters are 1800+ pieces of fabric, doesn't include the connecting pieces, borders. Took 2 weeks of planning. Wanted to have it finished for #Ebertfest but was a day late. Now on to his fav movie titles. #quiltsky

Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
one day when my mom was well into her dementia she told me about skipping meals so my brother and i could eat
that’s why hunger bothers me so much - my mom literally went hungry so we could eat, and right now as a society we won’t take our surplus and feed others
We won.
Tesla Chicago is closed.
Their new location is in a ghost town. They sacrificed visibility to thousands/day--& proximity to the other luxury car dealerships--to get away from us, because we'd turned their brand ambassador location into a liability.

Iran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz — A Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it? My Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan — They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations. Iran recently announced that they were closing the Strait, which is strange, because our BLOCKADE has already closed it. They’re helping us without knowing, and they are the ones that lose with the closed passage, $500 Million Dollars a day! The United States loses nothing. In fact, many Ships are headed, right now, to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, to load up, compliments of the IRGC, always wanting to be “the tough guy!” We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years. IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Trump: “We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy”
