"Let's play Peek-a-boo" says Red-winged Black Bird. These guys are quick and like to hide in cattails. It really was a game as I chased him around from pond to tree, to pond, and back to tree. Love these Katz!!! Grew up with them in the Foothills of Colorado.

Some days, it's just about Mr. Black Phoebe. Yes, as they shift in the light, their tone changes, but mostly present as an all-black bird. Sweet song, and these cats return to the same nesting spots year after year! Corrales Bosque 5/3/2025.
