Looking back to last weekend and Janice Burns & Jon Doran playing #FolkattheLodge .. sold out show and a cracking night. The chemistry between these guys is another example in the music world of 1 + 1 = 3.

I always look forward to this point in the year when the Blackthorn flowers begin to burst open from their buds lighting up the hedgerows. The promise of Spring and a sign that the natural world is wakening up.

Inspired by the litter heroes who pick up in the #CountessofChesterCountryPark I've been doing what I describe as Postcode litter picks. If you have a sense of 'place' in where you live it's actually very therapeutic and quite good fun. Most interesting thing today .. a pair of underpants 🤔.

Last Friday my @tcvnational.bsky.social #GreenGym team in the #CountessofChesterCountryPark rebuilt a fallen down post & wire fence, planted hedging whips in a large gap and put in a diagonal stay to repair a strainer post. TCV volunteers are the 'heroes' who look after the site.
