Next side project, #buildthestash M997 Ambulance, just started on the chassis and drive train

A busy day painting, side and end panels in red, ceilings in cream, the light patches are being caused by some rogue yellow thing in the sky upsetting the view

An early mini or beetle would be good, the car in the picture looks to be a Ford Anglia

This is one from my currently small selection of printed books, I listen to a lot of historical e-books at work. It is the story of a fatal flight against the V2 site at Wizernes, the loss of the plane and the bravery of the Resistance in saving the survivors.

I share your pain, I have just pre-ordered the new Airfix SR. N4 hovercraft as well as purchasing a Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito. AND sooner or later I WILL get the Tamiya motorised WWI tank.
I will, however, try to reduce the stash as much as I can as well
Picked this up on my last visit to the International Bomber Command Centre, all the info on how it was built, variations, squadron allocations and plenty of pics, also details of some of the famous raids including Shellhus and the Aarhus raid in Denmark
What a Carry on, IYKYK, the best use of a daffodil EVER!
I had Iron Maiden the album playing on the speaker at the side of the driving seat of my coach, on the school run last week, 4 kids (11-14) were arguing about whose turn it was to sit behind me so they could listen to it.....
Education continues on the bus ride home
Very nice mate
Front view of the Revell routemaster with the front panels partially complete and loose fitted to check fit and gaps in the paint at the pre-painted panel joins, no bonnet showing the completed engine. Picture is taken agains an unusually tidy workbench
Nowhere near finished yet, but starting to look more like a bus than a collection of bits #histscalemodels #routemaster
Awesome π
Looks interesting mate, will give me some good reading when I am sat in the Coach bored sh!tless π
very nice mate, given me an idea to go with my, as yet, unbuilt collection of ambulances
its on the list...............
Oh Bugger...............
I need one...............
NOW!π€£π€£
brilliant job mate
The source is definitely a Witch, the colours are based on the favourite colours of SWMBO, and the owl is her spirit animal. It was always intended as a nod to the craft and its practitioners, "possibly" won me a few brownie points π€£. it now has a place with her other similar figures, next a dragon!
Cheers mate
MMMMMMMMMM Cake π€£
I have this book, total geekery, but who cares
oh bugger! take it steady mate
Unfortunately the get up and go well and truly buggered off, for various reasons, definitely didnβt feel like building π€¬ back on board this weekend, something completely different, one for SWMBOπ Not really a #histscalemodels but the history of the Witch is still to be celebrated π€£ broomstick nextπ§Ή
I must admit I like the finish in the top picture, possibly a case of less is more π€
A WW1 mk 1 make tank painted in overall brown and partially weathered
I did a thingβ¦β¦β¦β¦
I build a tank, need to build the dio for it now.
Not too bad for a first attempt.

Thatβs got me thinking, Iβve got a bow pen in my railway model tool box somewhere, Iβll have to give it a try on the next kit, I did use it for lining out a OO (1/76) loco onceβ¦β¦β¦.
