A knit stocking with different colorwork motifs, including Christmas trees, snowflakes, holly leaves, and ducks.

In honor of #socktober, here’s the closest thing I’ve done to a sock. My then-almost-2-year-old was obsessed with ducks at the time. The white yarn was from my stash and in retrospect too thick-thin for colorwork, but I still think it turned out pretty cute. 🦆

I saw this pattern and pounced at the chance to use a skein of variegated yarn I’ve had kicking around for years. It’s the Luminos Tee, a fun knit and clever construction.

I took some nail-biting liberties to get it to work in sport weight, and I’m pleasantly surprised by how well it fits haha.

That'd be so cool! I'm a fan of StichFiddle.com for creating charts, and they have a pretty standardized way of annotating instructions -- if my app has legs I've thought about trying to automatically read stitchfiddle patterns to show row-by-row instructions. Definitely a bigger project though!
