Folktale Week Day 2: INK

Micki wanted someone to play with. But there was no chance of that on the little island. Her only hope was to find a penpal on the mainland. So she poured her heart into a bottle and begged the sea to take it to the nearest, nicest girl.

Folktale Week: Lost

Life on the island was nice enough. Micki spent her days digging clams, exploring tide pools, and putting out kibble for the barn cats. On Sundays, she went hiking with Grandpa and they ate berries straight off the vine.

But something was missing.
