In CP1 you specifically have to find the normal to a plane containing 2 given vectors, which you can do as a.n=0 and b.n=0 and solve simultaneously (again assuming a value for one of x,y, z) but doing it from the normals of 2 given planes and finding a common point is a lot more work!

The direction of the line is perpendicular to both normals, so this would be in FP1 not CP1
And they just have to find any point that lies in both, ie solve the two plane equations simultaneously assuming a specific value for one of x, y, or z
