Have 3 boys - youngest is 15. The easiest answer is hoodies. Older 2 stopped growing yrs ago & they are still asking for new ones. Nike seems to be a universal favorite.

While the cost is typically passed to consumer, demand could lessen for many reasons which could force the price back down (less profit). Many ways to theoretically stimulate an economy, but u can’t predict human response. One small factor can have large impact.
