Even though my project had nothing to do with the language they are targeting, I was funded under a diversity K01 program announcement that has since been rescinded. I guess I just got caught in the middle of all of these insane actions.

My thinking is that reviews would not be completed in the agreed timelines despite what Congress has stipulated - staff can only do so much. I agree that other possibility could be less thorough reviews. Dangerous either way if resources are cut
