I set a new record today for myself that I’m unlikely to ever beat. Up today at 07.30 for an appointment at 08.00 meant I was out walking very early and just kept going for hours enjoying seeing the sunrise over Sitges.
Followed by a second walk in the evening.
Total distance walked
26km / 16 miles

What started off as a miserable wet day in Sitges ended up to be my best walking day so far.

10 years ago I went to a birthday dinner,had a couple of red wines I was feeling a bit sick, chatting to AJ. Little did I know I was having my 1st #heartattack & the wine had thinned my blood enough to ease the symptoms. The big one was to happen the next day. Today is that day 10 years ago.

It felt like a bad week for walking results but the effort has paid off. 17,206 steps so far today. I’d love to get to 20,000 but we’ll see.
Ending the week having walked 44kms / 27.34 miles so not too shabby at all !
