At Swindon Borough Council's budget meeting today, Swindon Green Party will propose to freeze Councillors allowances this year. We propose to use the money this would save to fund more SEND transport.
We've heard so much from SEND families who are struggling.

Trying to find modest active wear- like long running tops that don’t cost a fortune is near impossible! There is a market for this. Brands like #Haya #ByNora are too pricey! This one of the reasons we have barriers to fitness for women! Can we change this?
What shoes are u running in? ai have @saucony.bsky.social Guide 18s. Gait analysis said they were best but surprisingly gave me my usual shoe size and when I run after about 3-4k I get pins and needles in my feet. Should it have been bigger size?

Been training for a half marathon since Jan & started w/ the couch to 5k. I have built this to 7.5k & then did 10k last month. Now I can barely run 1k without walking some of it as my calfs hurt loads.
Any help on how I stop calf/Shin pain & increase endurance? #RunningPunks
So, did a a 7k run this morning despite a nasty cold & even went up a hill! Did a some walking but mostly run. First 2k was hard. From 3k run without stopping & faster too. What can I do about calve aches & pins & needles in feet?

Last Sunday did my 1st 10k- slow and struggled. I have until end of Sept to prep for half marathon. I want speed and endurance. How do I get that. And How do I stop the aches and pains after long run? #RunningPunks
I did my first 10k race over the weekend. It wasn’t fast nor pretty! But it was done! I felt elated! Such races have such a buzz! Now hooked on buying running shoes! Ran in @Saucony but felt a bit of rubbing despite gait analysis for it.
What do u recommend?
10k run done! Bristol was amazing! I thoroughly hated and loved it all at once!

Its tomorrow. I managed a 5k run yesterday and a 9k walk today- so I am hoping I can get through it just fine. Nerves have kicked in though!

So far it seems promising- the writer, Anam Zakariya a Pakistani Canadian writer tries to give an honest take from the people of the country & the propagandists are left out of the narrative- should be interesting.

I am meant to be running my first ever 10k this weekend. I have managed to get to 7.5k but have since had a kidney infection and today have a sore throat & cough. I really really want to race! Need to be fit enough to get to that finish line! #RunningPunks #RunningBug
Around about November ‘24, I think it was, when I started the c25k & started taking it serioisly in Jan ‘25 at which point I couldnt even run 60 secs w/o feeling like I would die!
Today I graduated the 9 week course! Today I run over 1 hr 10 mins and did over 7.30km!

What is fartleks?
I think I have the running bug! Every time I go out I hate it & want to stop in the first min or 2 but I push & when I finish I want to go out again & smash my target! 5k today done in. 47 mins- 1 min faster then my last.

Why? I have read most of the books on the table and they are eye openers and also ones that make you cry! Why?
Week 9 run 1- i just keep going now until I get tired.
In Jan I could barely stick to 60 sec runs. Now…7k! 7k!
I am very slow. Took me over an hour- but its non stop running! 7k!
