Lipstick lichen has taken over this side of a stump in the front yard. I love the diversity of this particular spot - the moss and lichen seem really happy, and it's so colourful against the snow.

Yes! So so true! Ridiculously versatile and easy. By far the best hot weather green imo (tho in competition with borage perhaps!)

vegetables mentioned in the post are sitting in a gray tray. The Home squash is a zucchini that is white and kind of pear shaped.

Recent harvests - Homs Kousa zucchini squash, early cucumbers, swiss chard, and the early Minsk tomatoes starting to take off!

Works real well! I also sprinkled a bit of pepper powder on some too (chimayo from what I grew a few years ago) and that was nice. Any hot sauce would work :)
