Today let’s get a good look at your main villain.
Show me a piece of art of your main villain, or some villains that are important in your story.
If you don’t have any art of these characters, just give them a description for us. What kind of presence do they have in a room?

Overall, he is an incredibly powerful villain, but also tries to keep a low profile and utilize politics and religious manipulation in order to change peoples conception.
He wants people to worship him like a God and in order to do that he needs to Forster a world where people believe in him.
But by far his most successful and experienced acolyte would be his personal guard the elf Belladonna.
She is old, even among elves and an incredibly experienced fighter, she always gets the job done. Even with his magic, he does not come close to her sword fighting capabilities.
When he wants to spy on others or needs people interrogated, he can also utilize his familiar Zēngwú the manticore to read minds and frighten whoever he needs.
He is a loyal, pet and acolyte who worships Reddick like a God. And also views him vaguely as a father in a par-asocial way.
When he needs things handled in brutal fashion, he will often call on his more powerful wizards. His favorite being the plague wizard Zi - Mu.
Zi - Mu is a heartless wizard who follows orders without a second thought, spreading radiation everywhere he goes. Doing everything Reddick asks.
Because of his high standing, he also has to keep up appearances. This has caused Reddick to employ the assistance of mercenaries.
One such mercenary is lord Oswal, who he appointed as a lord in order to control and to use his forces as a private militia that are not tied to himself.
Reddick is potentially the most powerful wizard alive, and with his augmentations he has made himself quite a physical threat.
With that and his high intelligence, he is a forced to be reckoned with, but often find himself too busy to handle things himself.
Relying on his many minions. 🧵

Sphinx value intelligence above all else, and the pursuit of knowledge. Because of this, they value academics more than almost any other species.
This has led to a culture, full of philosophers and astronomers. They don’t put a lot of value into manual labor, just mental labor.

Really the point of no return is when Everett and Brutus decide that they aren’t going to risk Miri getting hurt and decided to take her with them.
She is very valuable to Reddick and he is willing to go to great lengths to get her back once he figures out where she is.
These little candies are often called sundrops, and are usually dusted in a fine layer of salt, making them a sweet and salty confection.

Like I have said orcs actually do have hard candy. Using honey and gelatin they make hard candies and taffy that are enjoyed as treats.
They also became very popular for humans who now have made dozens of varieties.
This honey candy can also be used for medicine, making it palatable
I hope so I’m just scared for the bill
Well, I just got home, and my car is in the shop. It should be fixed tomorrow and luckily I don’t work.
Now that I am home, I’m gonna try to respond to a couple things on here lol.
Yeaaaaaah not a great time, got me distracted from my posting
I love when my car decides to break down and I have to pull into a gas station and call AAA

Me after smashing through the 23rd skeleton he sent after me just to get disintegrated instantly from his prepared spell.

Istaria holds a lot of social power. She is the queen of Esrasea, and this gives her plenty of authority within the country, and military might to exercise her power beyond it.
One on one, she isn't especially threatening. She is technically a mage, but not a powerful one.🧵
It would be a wonderful day if I got even one good solid hit on him before I get immediately turned to holy dust by one of his guards
I am very intrigued to see what fighting this shadowy advisor would look like, I’m assuming he’s got some magic up his sleeve.
I do wonder, though, if he could fight without magic as well.
BigBad is definitely not a fighter. He'll rely on dirty tricks to defeat others, outsmarting his opponent, or using his minions (or making his would-be opponent a minion first)
Ace's also not a fighter, but he's slightly better in the real world than BigBad is at it...

So it sounds like most of your villains don’t do the heavy lifting by themselves, instead of using a network of minions.
#AntagonistApril
From the top:
Pius: the head of the Church, can defend himself [spoiler] but mostly has minions for that
Dominic: effectively Pius’s second in command at this point, cannot defend himself at all, uses Michael and [spoiler] for that
The Saints of the Apocalypse: all hardened warriors
So you’re saying I could beat Dominic in a fist fight?

Taipan’s power is capitalism and devouring souls, basically the same thing, so like every billionaire, she relies heavily on the exploited work of others
Heck, yeah, I also make my villains basically just billionaire capitalist scumbags
#AntagonistApril 21. Quan Chi can easily protect himself, although he often uses his necromancy to summon skeletons and undead. He can wield it as pure energy, too, though, and he's a good martial artist even though he doesn't employ those skills often. (1/2)

Honestly, I don’t see a downside to summoning skeletons to help you in a fight, at their worst they are a distraction and a physical shield.
Who are some of the more powerful demon, lords?
#AntagonistApril
Sidonay needed Fumatsu's protection, and Fumatsu is a powerful Demon Lord who can handle things on his own. In fact, in the Hierarchy, if any demon beneath Fumatsu could kill him and take his position, they would.
