Or: a Film Noir AU, where the lines between law and disorder have never been blurrier.

page 1, Viktor approaches a grumpy Jayce with a deck of cards and asks him to pick one, memorize it and put it back in the deck. he is going to guess which card it was. Jayce is a bit skeptical but does as he is told.

page 2 Viktor shows Jayce a card but it's the wrong one. he tries the trick a few more times but it's always the wrong card. Jayce is making fun of him until Viktor suddenly stops him and tells him to check his pocket. he looks at the card in his hands

page 3 the card is still wrong. Viktor is frustrated and goes over his trick to figure out where he went wrong. when he is about to figure it out, Jayce gently brushes his hair out of his face and reveals he had the card all along.

page 4 Jayce is way more relaxed now, and he is making fun of Viktor, calling him cute for trying to best him at his own trick. Viktor flirts back but before they can kiss, he demands Jayce for another demonstration of the cards trick
