Square purple logo with rounded corners, bearing just the white text "NO GEN AI"

Square purple logo with rounded corners, bearing just the white text "NO GEN AI"

This is a periodic reaffirmation that I do not, and will not, use genAI in the conceptualisation, drafting, writing or editing of my stories and books, and will never use or commission genAI "art" for covers or illustrations.

"AI author" is an oxymoron. Avoid prompt jockeys and sloperators.

Bunnies are at the location of the time portal in "City At the Edge of Forever" (the Star Trek episode.) It is a donut-shaped glowing rock, with ruined columns strewn around it. One bunny has just run through the portal, head-first, as two other bunnies try to stop them.

Image of forest with a post from @katherinehayhoe.com / @debcha.bsky.social reading: I am a climate scientists and this is correct / Occasional reminder that there's no "it's too late, it's over" for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn't go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0/1 degree of warming makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

Donโ€™t give in to despair. Amid bad news, fake news, billionaire takeover, conflict and creeping authoritarianism, remember: itโ€™s not too late. Every fraction of a degree, every action, still matters.

A Fractured Song: The Broken Melody Amazon.com: A Fractured Song: The Broken Melody eBook : Yam, Vincent, Titov, Fedor: Kindle Store

p.3 One thing I made sure to work out with my artist quiet was that I had rights to the concepts and could use them for marketing, something you should also do!

p.2 The other covers were very nice pieces of art, but this one gave Frances, my main character, *character* and a personality. It suggested she was a bit reserved but also willing and able to take action.

p.1 Book 1 Cover Art series. Ver. E became the basis for book 1's cover b/c of a combination of factors. This concept by www.artstation.com/quietvictories was by far the most dynamic, had good space for title text, and had Frances in the best action pose. The wand was also incredibly striking

A working logo for the dark fantasy and horror visual novel "Catalyst: Blind Faith." The subtitle says "Livestream."

Grayscale art on the top row shows three main characters. From left to right: A female elf with a sly expression, asymmetric hair, many piercings, and long ears side-eyeing the player; a disheveled and heavily scarred young man, clutching at his head while he stares directly at the viewer; and a bubbly woman in profile view with an unnaturally broad grin and very poofy hair.

The bottom row has five sketches of different male body types, all at the same height. These are illustrative of the protagonist, whose appearance can radically change based on the player's choices. From left to right: An emaciated figure in a fighting stance, fists before his face; a slender and broad-shouldered figure in a front-facing and stiff pose; a muscular figure, looking relaxed and confident as he glances over his shoulder; a husky male figure, partially drawn, as some of the right arm is incomplete; and a very heavyset male figure, standing in a similar distant and neutral pose as the slim figure.

What exactly is it about trans people that inspires such disproportionate self-incinerating rage in people who fall down anti-trans rabbit holes? That we've kinda done nothing is precisely why it's so disproportionate, to the conspiracy addled, it's more proof of our secretive far-reaching power.

A scene from the animated lord of the rings movie. Gandalf the white is wearing a white robe and hat, as he holds his staff with one hand, and raises his other hand as it looks like he's explaining something. In the background are sprawling branches of large trees. The image is captioned "You don't need to suffer to earn rest and kindness toward yourself."

An advert for a company called Magibook. The headline reads "Turn HARD books into EASY books with Magibook! Maximize your reading potential and avoid difficult language today."

Underneath is two covers of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Above the first cover is the original version of the opening sentence (captioned "Turn Hard Books"), which reads "In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since."

Above the second cover (captioned "into Easy Books") is a simplified version, which reads "When I was young, my dad told me something that I still think about."

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.
