A palette cleanser after the Gundam diorama project! After trying out a metallic aquilla and symbol I think it might look better flat for future marines. Dreading painting another 14 of these but the things we do for the Lion 🙂‍↔️

MS-09 Dom Cold Climate Type. Still needs to be placed on his diorama base and will hopefully be my GBWC entry this year. Bit of a change of pace but it was fun trying new materials like hairspray and salt on something of this size.

Some PED-guzzling rats to guard their little siblings. Mostly still focused on studying fur and leather with these ones (including some awful sky-earth NMM attempts). The Warcry warband is complete but most exciting of all, finally time to paint something non-Skaven next! :D

At last the little Clanrats have someone to follow! Since it had quite a dynamic steed and pose, I converted its weapons to resemble Lu Bu. Except I found out later, he never actually dual wielded lances in Dynasty Warriors (or history) 😫

5/20 rats done! The only thing harder than painting so many rats is getting all their individual details in one picture. Quite enjoyed trying baking soda in the weathering for the first time. Would recommend!
