I’m not sure if this is a 1/72 AFV diorama or a Christmas dinner table centrepiece #histscalemodels

The shorter tufts would definitely be of interest on future projects. The snow is made by mixing bicarbonate of soda with AK Water Effects. Different ratios result in different events.
It’s a bit of an experiment piece

The little diorama has gone all wintery portraying a period were the heavy snow has started to melt. I’ll wait until this dries fully before seeing if any more is needed, perhaps a light sprinkling of fresh snow ? #histscalemodels

It would be rude not to go although I can see it being an expensive trip #histscalemodels #scalemodels

The academy is okay but the bow “add on” armour and bin is wrong. Accurate Armour used to do resin replacement along with some other bits and pieces but don’t know if it’s are still available though

We have booked a lovely French cottage overlooking the sea for our week long “Beach” holiday in Normandy starting on the 6 June…..really looking forward to this after our recent road trips to Bastogne and Arnhem over the last couple of years…. Luckily we have wives that also enjoy history….

Decals on the T-54 and another coat of gloss varnish over the top of them. A bit more work on the hull and turret of the T-26 and added the turned aluminium barrel that arrived today #histscalemodels

With the 1/72 Tiger II and the 1/35 T-54 ready for varnish on Saturday, the Sherman has had some bits fitted and glue drying so it must be time to start assembly on a little OOTB side project….I really must get the Jagdpanther engine compartment painted though #histscalemodelso

First bit of modelling this holiday. M4 running gear cleaned up, 4 unused bolt holes drilled into the bogies and missing bolts added to the track skids. The hollow Tamiya rear idlers have been replaced with a pair of spare early style idlers from the, as yet, unbuilt Academy M36 #histscalemodels

It’s starting to look a bit like a M4. I’ve forgotten how quick these older Tamiya kits are to build….the aluminium barrel and resin mantlet were already in the stash but I’m still fighting the desire to get some better tracks…..#histscalemodels
