This particular image has alluded me for years. Initially, I was drawn to the perfectly chiseled s-curve if the spine's edge. In recent years, with the increase of water in the area, these desert flowers that were once dormant, have sprung up through the soft sand. Although a little past peak, and drying out, I was thrilled to find a couple good patches that made for a beautiful foreground, complimented by the sand dune rising above.
