A white tailed eagle flies over our little town in norden Germany.
A Red kite (bird of prey) flies over against a light blue sky. It's tail feathers look to be messed up.
A Red kite from the "backyard", here in Techelsdorf, northern Germany :) Its tail feathers looked to be messed up. We have many birds of prey that often fight for territory and prey, also ravens and crows.

folkBaltica opening concert at Koncersal Alsion, in Sønderborg Denmark. On stage: folkBaltica Ensemble, Sønderjysk Pigekor, and folkBaltica's artistic director Harald Haugaard.
Gjermund Larsen, this year's artist in residence performing at folkBaltica's opening concert. He is playing a Hardingfele (Hardanger Fiddle). Not only is it one of Norway’s most famous exports, but the hardingfele is also Norway’s national instrument. The hardingfele is different from its stringed cousins in a couple of ways. First, the wood of the instrument is significantly thinner than the wood used in violins. Also, the hardingfele typically has eight or nine strings, while the violin only has four. The hardingfele player plucks or bows four strings while the remaining four or five resonate underneath. Text: https://hellomusictheory.com/learn/norwegian-instruments/
Musicians on stage at folkBaltica's 20 years anniversary concert in Flensburg, Germany. Shoot from the audience's perspective. A blue light shines towards the camera and lights the audience's head light blue.
Volosi, a Polish folk band performs at Rinkenæs church in South Denmark. The photo depicts the members of the band blurred by their fast movements. A cello and a double bass can be seen in the center of the image, while the other instruments are blurred in the foreground.
This year I had the chance to be a part of folkBaltica (folkbaltica.de). This year there were 28 concerts across Schleswig-Holstein and Sønderjylland (South Denmark). It was a wonderful festival, and I must say I feel privileged to have been this year’s photographer.

Two dogs running at the dog park. A Labrador retriever mid flight followed by a little fluffy yorkie-like dog.
I haven't posted in a while, so here is a photo of not one, but TWO happy dogs, enjoy!

A small, round bird perched on a snowy branch, its soft gray and brown feathers fluffed up against the cold. A delicate snowflake rests on its head, highlighting the striking yellow markings above its eyes. Its tiny feet grip the frosty branch, adding to the wintery charm of the scene.
This is a photo I took a few years ago of a White-throated Sparrow in the snow at my house. I couldn't believe what I was seeing as I was taking this shot.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen speaks at the Munich Security Conference, standing at a podium with 'msc' branding. She wears a light purple blazer over a black top and gestures with her hands while addressing the audience. Behind her, a large screen displays the conference logo. Overlaid on the image are two bold yellow banners with black text: 'Ukraine needs peace through strength.' and 'Europe wants peace through strength.' The European Commission logo is visible in the bottom right corner.

A little beige/blue bird, an Eurasian nuthatch (Sitta europaea) stands on the side of a tree looking across the frame.
Another one from the garden. This Eurasian nuthatch (Sitta europaea) or "Kleiber", as they are called here in Germany.

A Chilien Loica looks to the left while perched on a slim branch. Approximately 15 centimeters tall, with dark grey feathers on the sides and wings, a very bright red chest and neck, and a distinctive white stripe on top of the eye. The long-tailed meadowlark (Leistes loyca) is a passerine bird of southern South America and the Falkland Islands, belonging to the meadowlark genus Leistes in the icterid family.
Loica, or Long-tailed meadowlark (Leistes loyca). I photographed this beauty while hiking at Jeinimeni National Reserve, in Chilean Patagonia back in 2018.

Long-tailed tit standing on a branch.
This little fellow is long-tailed tit. I photographed it last year in our garden. We will be moving soon and one of the things I'll miss the most is all the little birds that come by daily.

I can confirm, I was there 😁
I never got into the whole Instagram thing, which, since I am a photographer, surprised many people. But I think I'll start sharing here, let's see what happens 😁

I think not only the USA, but the world. I follow from Denmark, everything that's going on in the USA is worrisome and scary.
I think Signal is the only real alternative right now. And I guess that when enough people have moved to @bsky.app, then we will be able to use the chat here 👍🏼 Hopefully.
Good morning :) Same here, but it's proving challenging to leave META, specially WhatsApp, as it is the only way I communicate with my family and friends in Chile, where it is the most popular messaging app.
Good. I mean, I thought it was just me 😅
I have gotten several messages either from accounts that are clearly fake, or from accounts that seam legit, but the messages are very poorly written, no punctuation, horrible grammar (not that mine is that good), etc.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

The traveler cat replies, "What if that hand is rubbing my belly for longer than I'd like?" The cat guru responds, "Okay, there are exceptions."

I too would like to have the option to subscribe to an AI-less Photoshop. @adobelive.bsky.social aggregate all the AI tools in a dedicated AI app or make me a streamlined Photoshop version. Either way, give me an option to opt out so I don't have to pay for something I don't need.
I love photography. AI content has ruined the experience of seeing new work online: instead of admiring the work I find myself looking for the AI fingerprints. I block accounts that share AI without telling me it's AI. What do you do?
