‘Eastern’ Joshua Tree, Yucca jaegeriana; Beaver Dam Wash Natural Conservation Area, Utah. These yuccas developed a symbiotic relationship with the now-extinct giant (9 ft) sloth to disperse their seeds. It is pollinated by a moth the size of a rice grain.
