Excellent work.

Gawd above. Waiting is such hard work. Time drags. And it’s impossible to start anything in case ‘news’ happens.
Just remember that ‘advisory’ notices are just that… advice. Car can still pass MOT with advisories. Up to you which, if any you act on. Having said that, we always deal with tyres and brakes as a priority. And you can get work done elsewhere and submit for re-test if needed.
I still have an image of her in a leather biker outfit which is burnt into my memory… being smug about the expenses scandal. *shudders*
Today’s agenda item appears to be “waiting” … for phone calls mainly. Plus a burst of activity to get #FosterDog in the car for an appointment.
Margaret Hodge is a person I cannot abide.
A black and white border collie is lying in a large grey dog bed. He has a stainless steel dog bowl containing his breakfast in the bed with him.
Elderly, ailing, #FosterDog made it through the night. He is very sweet but stinks. Awaiting news re vets as he needs to be seen. Suspect a neurological issue. FYI he found his bark on the morning’s stagger. And had breakfast in bed. Literally.

Oh I love it. But, like Changing Rooms from way back when, I wouldn’t want them anywhere near my house!
8pm BBC1 tonight…… yay! #InteriorDesignMasters
A painting of a bird beside the text "is this shit over or what"
About to do battle on his behalf!
i just think of it as giving him the best possible chance.
Will do. He’s so sad, it’s heartbreaking 💔
Sadly he has severe neurological deficits. I think it’s extremely challenging for him. Poor chap.
Marvellous!
And here he is… a very disabled and infirm chap.
Foster dog arriving shortly. #CinnamonTrust
Eurasian Blue Tit pecking open a poppy seed pod to get at the seeds. Common behaviour in that part of south Cheshire in the 1980s although apparently little documented. Around 40 years later an American naturalist observed American Goldfinches doing the same thing and suddenly it was interesting and unique behaviour.
Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Petals&Perches. A juvenile Eurasian Blue Tit pecking open a poppy seed pod in a south #Cheshire garden. More details in the alt text.

It doesn't say so explicitly, but this WSJ piece is basically a detailed accounting of just how catastrophically bad Trump is at his job, specifically the "waging a war" part. Every detail is just incredibly damning. What an embarrassment.
We are seeing elevated errors and timeouts on some Bluesky-hosted services, and are investigating.

Wishing you a lovely Monday🌸

I’d be tempted to reply with ”politely, do fuck off”. Honestly. What you post is up to you. If she doesn’t like it she can get lost.
Lots done outdoors today. Back door’s final coat of paint, bulbs in the green transplanted to alongside the drive, bare root thorny hedging planted (yes, i know it’s late), potted on two tomatoes, planted up some beans, onions, carrots, lettuce and spinach. Robins fed from hand lots too #TinyJoys
Awful news about Giles Peaker, @nearlylegal.co.uk, a brilliant legal blogger and a real pioneer.
A great figure in using the internet for the public understanding of law.

Rightio… the back door won’t paint itself, so I’d better get a move on!
The average person doesn’t give a fuck if AI has some niche use where it actually excels if used properly. In fact, that is what a tool is *supposed* to do and none of us will have a problem if it is used like that. What we see is AI fucking up real life in a massive way.
