Currently Marlborough Sewage Treatment Works has been discharging untreated 💩 continuously for 273 hours straight into the Kennet.
Additionally the infamous sewer lid at Stonebridge Wild River Reserve has 'popped' and the contents of the sewer pipe has poured out.

Underneath the gravels of many rivers right now brown trout eggs will be developing and hatch into alevins which have a yolk sack to live off until they grow strong enough to leave the gravels and find food for themselves.
