I’m trying out the SawStop Revolution miter gauge. I thought I would try cutting the pieces for a pentagon.

So 360 degrees over 5 miters divided by 2 = 36 degrees.

I changed the miter gauge adjustment to 1 degree increments and then rotated it to 36 degrees and made my cuts.

Here are a couple more options for using the Low Profile Clamps from Bow Products on your CNC or work table. You can use a screw adapter to screw the low profile clamp directly to the workbench or CNC waste board.

I’m using the High Country Tools 3/8” flush trim bit to cut out some charcuterie boards with my Sawstop router table. I cut out the 1/4” thick acrylic templates on my laser. This bit is a 3/8” diameter, but has a 1/2” shank.

The next wood I am running through the Oliver 8" helical head jointer is a piece of 4/4 white oak. The board had a fairly straight edge, but that edge was extremely rough. After a couple passes I had a perfect 90 degree edge.

Time to flatten another board. Tonight it's a nice piece of walnut. I use the xbox controller to run the Ripper flattening bit over the wood until I have hit all of the surface. Then I flip it over and do the same to the other side and get it to the thickness I want.
