I just got an email with a brilliant (presumed) typo in the signature:

One singular regard. As an imperative noun: a judgment. As a verb: a command to consider. As a joke for us chronically online writers, *chefs kiss.*

Another not-quite-haiku:

Like mourning doves
we fly out of the long night
both eyes watching for hawks.

Now we move out of the long night. Now the days grow!

Who's thunk I'd be introducing my toddler to Senator Russ Feingold at my organization's conservation pub trivia event? I love getting to have fun in my work in #scicomm and #conservation.

I've been procrastinating and avoiding writing, so here's an attempt to grab any creative spark that might catch. An impromptu haiku, composed in blaze-orange mittens:
Frozen tennis ball.
Last light on the backyard lawn.
Ready doggo? Fetch!
