Just finished reading this lovely paper by @zbobo2.bsky.social , @teamgogl.bsky.social , Gilles Travé, and collaborators, describing a new technique for quantifying transcription factor:DNA binding without protein purification. A short reader's summary follows.

We have started a project trying to predic the interactions/structures of all yeast protein pairs using an AlphaFold pooling approach. We are making the current dataset open and we welcome collaborations.
