A dog poses on a table. He's surrounded by a tailor's measuring tape.
Every time this tailor posts a photo of their workspace, it looks like their dog is a tailor and he's showing off the garments he made.

This series is so good!!
Four bunnies play cards around a table, using red checker pieces and some acorns as chips. They are in a small parlor, and one of the bunnies is nibbling his cards.

The idea that people who take significant Covid precautions must be introverts is offensive as hell.
It’s ableist as hell. Performers, Organizers, the biggest extroverts in the world were forced to give up careers because other people wouldn’t mask. We do it because we still can’t afford COVID.

Blacksmith Miram Elbakyan at work in his Granville Island studio. In my view, there are few things cooler in this world than blacksmithing and I love his ‘grotesques,’ especially this top-hatted bird reading an open book. Hint hint.

I’ve had the same editor since 1967. Many times he has said to me over the years or asked me, Why would you use a semicolon instead of a colon? And many times over the years I have said to him things like: I will never speak to you again. Forever. Goodbye. That is it. Thank you very much. And I leave. Then I read the piece and I think of his suggestions. I send him a telegram that says, OK, so you’re right. So what? Don’t ever mention this to me again. If you do, I will never speak to you again

A woodland path bordered by vibrant bluebell flowers and tall trees leading to a rustic stone gate in spring.
Each morning we open a window to the Dales and share some of our favourite views. Like this of bluebells at Hardraw!

I read about a nursing home that had a print version of The Onion in the car & the elders with dementia would often read it & laugh & then forget & read it again & laugh. They weren’t as anxious about where they were going so they didn’t ask repeatedly & the car ride was more relaxed for everyone.
