Welcome! And what a great entrance sharing a POV (or should I say SPOV : Scottish Point of View) to change. Keep up sharing sources like these :-)

Are you an expert in understanding networks and translating network insights into clear actions for improvement? Then I've a question:
đHow do you support organizations in identifying & stress-testing today's high betweenness centrality hubs within their networks?

Then I am happy to tell you: I am not a bot. Thanks for sharing!
Rolling out AI often looks like a tech project because of the new tools and processes.
But culture has nothing to do with technology and doesnât change through tools.
âSo, what happens to culture if AI changes how much people rely on each other?
Weâre digging into that right now. Contact us đŹ
Is this a real screenshot taken from X? (sorry --- broke ties with it a couple of years ago) If so, my first cent is: this is just like how the bots react on the words that the algorithm favours

Remember your 1st months at work? Being ignored by some & included by others?
Those 1st months build your informal networks much more than most realize. You might move departments, location or take on new responsibilities. But your initial connections stick.
Intentionally speeding up is your ROI
Earlier this week, I spoke with a head of knowledge management inside a law firm. She was 1 of the 1st testing CoPilot. Her reaction: âit was terribleâ. Why? It was connecting all kind of metadata from documents which the system itself had assigned to it. The result? A tsunami of bad data
I am also fascinating by the sheer of master data management open positions in companies of all sizes.
My take on that: either librarians/ information managers have been poor in bringing their expertise into a strategic asset, or companies have underfunded this. Probably itâs both đ¤
I follow @ssir.org ⌠and i am sure someone behind this review love to learn more about this case ⌠or even have it highlighted in the review
Most organizations still treat knowledge loss as a documentation problem. It's not. It's a network problem. Because when someone leaves, what you actually lose is someone in a network of relationships, judgments, and shared understanding. No wiki, no AI bot, no offboarding checklist captures that.

Nine leaders with titles influence 70% of their organization. Nine employees without titles influence 93%. The difference? Your formal leaders mostly influence each other. Your informal influencers connect the groups that don't overlap.

Almost half of all M&As fail, even though they try to make it work for 10 years đą

Knowledge-sharing doesn't fail because people won't help.
It fails because they don't know when they're supposed to. When you get asked less, you also don't know what you know. And if you don't know what you know, you don't know when to share

Just had one of those why-does-corporate-security-work-this-way? moments.
Scheduled a meeting 2 weeks ago, shared Teams link, only for the attendee (who was in the room) to get auto-muted by their IT.
He asks: Can we do Zoom instead? Nope. Now weâre rescheduling for when he's WFH. Efficiency!"
Yep :-)
