Spent my morning in a Sew Squad workshop learning to make a scrappy star with @libselliott.com. I had so much fun digging through my scraps.

The fact that they were using Signal to avoid FOIA requests needs to be talked about more.

Local libraries are a haven for Michiganders from all walks of life. But to Trump, they're just one more thing to slash and burn so he can justify handing a $4.5 trillion tax break to his pals like Elon Musk. This doesn't make America great.

The US agency that monitors weather will cut another 1,000 jobs, AP sources say Multiple sources tell The Associated Press that the Trump Administration is starting another round of job cuts — this one more than 1,000 — at the nation’s weather, ocean and fisheries agency.

Trump is slashing another 1,000 jobs at NOAA.

The National Weather Service, which is part of NOAA, provides life saving weather forecasting in the US.

A study found that for every $1 invested in NWS, it produces $73 in value to Americans. 

Again, this isn't about efficiency.

The Treasury Department right now. People are turning out against Musk and DOGE staging a takeover of the Treasury’s payment system. This crowd is big. The whole block is packed. “Lock him up,” everyone yells.

So tired of this idea that billionaires are our "betters" whose opinion is super important because they have a lot of money. It's bullshit. They're mostly greedy sociopaths who have no problem destroying people who get in their way. That doesn't make your opinion one to be valued, in my opinion.
