They seem to extend their territory in late autumn and winter and I don't see them every day. I also think they become much more nocturnal than in the spring and summer. But I still hear them every day.

I've been taking photos of them for 12 years, but I suspect they have been here much longer. It's an incredible privilege. I think it's become a bit of an obsession.
